Allie came to ISAC from the Visual Resources Center (VRC) at the University of Chicago, where she served as Digital Collections Manager from 2019–2025. In that role, she managed more than 700,000 digital and physical materials, led major digitization and cataloging projects, and built collaborative partnerships across campus and with cultural institutions throughout Chicago. Her work has been recognized for its innovation in ethical and reparative description, digital repatriation, and inclusive approaches to metadata and access. She has also worked closely with faculty in developing archival teaching collections and collaborating on training workshops in digital literacy, copyright, and research strategies. Allie brings to ISAC a strong background in both archival and museum collections management, honed through positions at the Minnesota Historical Society and the University of Michigan Museum of Art. She is deeply committed to transparency, accessibility, and community collaboration.
The Data Research Center turns ISAC’s archives, collections, and research data into powerful digital resources for discovering the ancient world anew.
