Registration is now open for the 2025 ISAC tour of Egypt!
November 15–29, 2025
Lead by ISAC Associate and Egyptologist Dr. Emily Teeter, this year's tour will feature visits to sites in and around Cairo, Aswan, Abu Simbel, and Luxor and an optional two-night extension to Alexandria. Highlights of the tour include:
- Private access inside the Sphinx enclosure for an up-close view of this magnificent monument with ISAC Associate Mark Lehner, director of the Giza Plateau Mapping Project
- In-depth, behind-the-scenes tours of the storied Medinet Habu and Luxor Temple complexes with Epigraphic Survey director Brett McClain
- A Thanksgiving feast with the Epigraphic Survey team and a private tour of Chicago House at Luxor
- A three-night Nile cruise on the brand-new Soleil luxury river boat
- Entry to the spectacular new Grand Egyptian Museum (on the main tour) and the newly reopened Graeco-Roman Museum (on the Alexandria extension)
- Guided exploration of the maze-like medieval streets and stunning Islamic architecture of Khan al-Khalili, the historic bazaar in the heart of Old Cairo
