This catalogue presents a selection of ancient Iranian objects from the Iranian Hall of the Oriental Institute Museum. These fine examples of ancient Iranian art and craftsmanship cover a period of some four thousand years of history, ending with the overthrow of the Achaemenid monarchy by Alexander the Great in 331 BC.
