Let loose your inner Indiana Jones! Girl Scouts, friends, and family dig into our simulated excavation while learning about the real science of archaeology at the Oriental Institute’s Kipper Family Archaeology Discovery Center. This program includes an interactive guided tour of the galleries and exclusive OI archaeology fun patches for each participant.

Recommended for Girl Scout Daisies, Brownies, Juniors, and Cadettes, and friends and siblings ages 5–12.

Junior Archaeologist is available Tuesdays through Sundays at 10 a.m. or 1 p.m. and is two hours long. Workshops include free admission to the museum all day.

Cost: $250 for 10 to 20 participants, $15 per additional participant. Parents, chaperones, troop leaders, and children under 4 are free. 

At least one adult is required for every 10 participants under the age of 18.
